It’s free to host a fundraiser, challenge, or event.
Fundraising and Donating to Nonprofits:
At Have A Nice Day we're all about transparency and making the donation process as easy as possible. That's why we partnered with Every.org, a trusted platform that verifies all 501(c)(3) nonprofits on Have A Nice Day.
When you make a donation that is supporting a nonprofit on Have A Nice Day, donations are sent directly to Every.org, who then distributes them to your chosen nonprofit within 15 - 45 days.
Third Party Fees:
Have A Nice Day App has a 0% platform fee. However, there are transaction fees from our third party processors.
They include:
Stripe: 2.9% + . 30 cents
Every.org: 2.5%
This is automatically charged at checkout, so you never have to worry about paying the bill.
Fundraising and Donating Individual Campaigns:
When raising funds for an individual or your community, we partner with Stripe Connect to perform an extensive KYC process to ensure security and authenticity.
If you're the campaign organizer, you can expect to receive your payout within 5-7 business days after the end of the campaign. If you donated to an individual fundraiser, your funds will be directly transferred to the individual.
How it works
Step 1: Choose a cause
Whether you want to support a verified charity or an individual fundraiser, browse our app or website to find the cause that speaks to you.
Step 2: Make a donation
Once you've selected a charity or individual campaign, you can make a donation through our platform. You'll be asked to enter your payment information and the amount you wish to donate.
Step 3: Transaction fee
Have A Nice Day has a 0% platform fee. Have A Nice Day App has a 0% platform fee. However, there are transaction fees from our third party processors.
Stripe: 2.9% + .30 Every: 2.5%
Step 4: Donation processing
For individual fundraisers, we partner with Stripe Connect and use an extensive KYC process to ensure the funds go directly to the verified campaign organizer. For verified nonprofits, we send the donation to Every.org, our partner who distributes the funds to the non-profit organization you selected.
Step 5: Impact report
Once the funds are received, the non-profit or individual fundraiser will use it to make a difference in their cause. You can track the impact of your donation through our app and receive an impact report from Every.org.
Step 6: Share your impact
Spread the word about your donation and the impact it made to inspire others to give back and create change in the world.
